  • Skylights can be used to increase lighting in a room, office, passage in the house natural lighting thereby saving on electricity costs. There are 2 types for indoor lighting, namely Tubular Skylights or a Box Skylight (see the indoor lighting section in the catalogue).
  • Skylights can also be used for overhead protection from rain in patios, outside passages or walkways (check sections in our catalogue).
  • Entrance Hall or staircase Skylights are so attractive and create a positive feeling on entering a house or office (Check entrance hall section in the catalogue).
  • Open spaces between the walls of a house can be converted into private rest places, gyms, extra & attractive rooms for various uses through a skylight and fitting accessories such as sliding doors, stacking doors, etc.
  • Skylights can also be used to cover swimming pools (refer to catalogue).
  • Discerning clients can install skyport as opposed to the the traditional canvas or zinc carports

SKYLIGHT COMPONENTS

  • Structure: All Aluminium or All Steel Structure or combination of Aluminium and Steel, dependent on customer requirement or skylight design preferred.
  • Structure Colors: Aluminium can be mill finish or painted like steel with color of choice; the most popular in Bronze.
  • Glazing: Perspex (solid plastic) of 3mm standard thickness though higher thickness can be obtained.
  • Perspex Types & Tints: Polycarbonate or Acrylic types. Colors – Clear; Light Bronze (most popular); Dark Bronze; Opal; Blue Gloss; other color of choice.
  • Glass: All laminated; 6.38mm thickness is standard, higher thickness and even “walk-on” thickness are available. Colors – Clear; Cool Bronze (popular); Cool Grey; Arctic Snow. The tint reduces the amount of heat & light underneath the skylight.
